Well, we have good news for the evening. The river has started to drop a bit after coming up about two feet since this morning and getting within two feet of flood stage. We also got "shore" electricity back about an hour ago after losing power at around 7am this morning. Of course we have our batteries and used them throughout the day as we would normally do when camping off the grid.
They officially shut down the park this afternoon to visitors (although people are apparently sneaking in) and there is only one person still camping here, everyone else is staff or family of staff.
The forecast is for more of the same over the next 4-5 days and we're being told that Wednesday will be the worst of it so we're not out of the woods yet. Some forecasts are calling for solid rain over the next three weeks.
We'll keep posting here to keep everyone up to date.
