Monterey Bay Aquarium

For a New Years Eve treat we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We explored the Kelp Forest, the Otter tank, the Outer Bay exhibit, and pretty much everything in the Aquarium. Sea otters are much bigger than we realized! They get 5 ft long and weigh 80 lbs! I think we would have enjoyed this Aquarium a lot more if were had kids- it had touch tanks, play areas, and educational displays everywhere. It was very crowded while we were there. There were so many visitors that some of the exhibits were hard to get close to. Monterey was a really nice town and Cannery Row looked like lots of fun to browse but we were so exhausted after the Aquarium that we decided to return another day to explore some more!
